Dutch Insights on Urban Cycling: Pedaling Progress Featured in Smart City Mag
Our cycling paper, Pedaling Progress, recently caught the attention of Smart City Mag in France, where we discussed our work on promoting sustainable mobility solutions for urban areas.
In a feature interview, our project lead Noor Kleijweg shared insights from our recent study on bike parking in Paris. The study highlighted a pressing need for more bike parking in Paris, which currently only offers a limited 2% of spaces compared to the demand—an issue that’s impacting Paris' potential to grow cycling as a key mode of transport. With Pedaling Progress, we’re committed to sharing Dutch expertise in sustainable urban mobility with our French counterparts.
Looking forward to seeing even more progress on this front as France and the Netherlands work together toward a sustainable, bike-friendly future!
