On Entrepreneur’s Day in the Netherlands, celebrated globally for the first time in 2024, the NL Business Hub Network highlighted 14 entrepreneurs exemplifying sustainable business practices. The Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie des Pays-Bas en France selected Michel Bayings, founder of Holiday Charging, for his pioneering work in sustainable mobility and EV charging solutions in France. Michel’s achievements showcase innovation, resilience, and a commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of travel.

Pedaling Progress, a cycling-focused publication, was recently featured in France’s Smart City Mag for its work on sustainable urban mobility. Project lead Noor Kleijweg shared findings from a study revealing a significant shortage of bike parking in Paris, underscoring the need for improved infrastructure to support cycling growth. The initiative aims to share Dutch expertise and foster collaboration for more sustainable, bike-friendly cities.
